Carlisle and Beyond, July 2010

July 2010:  Linda and I took the TPLESS69 up to Carlisle, PA to attend the Chryslers at Carlisle.  After which we took an extra week off to head east to visit with family and then reminisce some old times with a trip down the East Coast.  We headed out early Friday morning (07/09) to start our journey.  A long ride up Interstate 77 eventually catching 81 through the beautiful NC/VA Mountains and onto PA.  A long "hot" ride before pulling into Carlisle and eventually reaching our destination.

Daytona 2009

November 2009: Linda and I traveled to Daytona for the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona International Speedway.  (if your a gearhead - this is one annual trip you should plan).  We joined up with several Classic Cruiser Club members and enjoyed the fun and festivities.  But the best part of this trip was our journey back home.  We ventured off the usual interstate route and elected to drive up the coast on the ole A1A through the small coastal towns and islands.  Major stops included many of the historic civil war forts and visits to St. Augustine, Savannah, Charleston, and the Boone Plantaion.  The weather was just perfect for top-down cruisin.  The old south still has much of its charm and beauty.
Here are some pics from our trip.  Hope you enjoy.
